Are you familiar with the movement by Aminata Touré in Germany to strike the word “race” from an anti-discrimination clause in the constitution? There is an ongoing debate there, not necessarily whether it should be done, but what word should replace it. Sadly, one confused American-inspired activist said they vocally oppose it and they should all instead “reappropriate race as a site of resistance.” The sooner people realize that racism creates race the better.
